I was approached about creating some comic-book-inspired wedding invitations for a cosplay couple. They wanted something playful in red, white and blue. We eventually decided to use a Batman reference, adding "Holy Matrimony!" as the primary focus of the design. I used halftone dots to create the vintage comic effect and added some distress and desaturation in order to create a weathered vintage feel.
