The University of Birmingham Women's Association needed a poster to try and get people to submit to their zine. It had to fit in with the existing Women's Association brand and capture people's interest.

When designing this, I used several visual devices. The poster was created in a yearbook collage style, using historical feminist icons and a mixture of fonts and textures to give an eclectic DIY feel, much like a school yearbook. The embossed font is reminiscent of homemade mixtapes - this linked to the zine attempting to mix together a diverse range of gender-related content within one publication.
